BJD: Which girl is the best?
I have plans to buy another female doll. Now that I have a sweet-looking girl (Madolin), I’m looking for a vixen type. For a while, I’ve favored SOOM’s Gena (Cream White) over SOOM’s Romantic Dillui but now I have two more to choose from. Please help me decide on which girl has the best face sculpt. Please do not base your answers on the eye color, wig, clothes, make-up, pose, theme, or any changeable object in the pics.

There’s a shocking military scandal that you may not know about: the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) is directly responsible for the extreme suffering of countless goats, pigs, monkeys, and other animals.
Every year, thousands of live animals are shot, stabbed, dismembered, burned, and poisoned in routine trauma-training exercises under the misguided notion that such cruelty will prepare medics and members of the infantry to deal with battlefield injuries. It’s horrific but true: The DoD subjects animals to every kind of violent injury that happens on the battlefield.
Ask President Obama to end cruel military trauma tests on live animals! Help PETA stop animal abuse by making a tax-deductible gift today.
But despite effective and painless non-animal alternatives available for these trainings—including the DoD’s own Combat Trauma Patient Simulator—the Department continues to maim and kill countless individual animals in gruesome and totally unnecessary ways, including the following:
* Goats are stabbed, their veins are cut open, their chests are wounded, and their legs are amputated.
* For military trauma training in Hawaii, pigs are shot, mutilated, and killed after enduring a five-day journey on crowded cargo ships.
These and other DoD-authorized but needless training exercises—and the horrific pain and suffering that they inflict on countless individual animals—could be stopped today without compromising military readiness or training.
It’s urgent that we take action NOW to save these animals. Please join with PETA today by asking President Obama to issue an executive order immediately requiring the DoD to replace its use and abuse of live animals with more effective non-animal methods.
This is a fight that we can win—with your help.
Just last month, after intense pressure from PETA and our supporters around the world, the Bolivian government banned “the abuse and sacrifice of animals” in military exercises. This came just days after we released a shocking video that showed dogs who were mutilated alive during “training” exercises conducted by the Bolivian military. It’s also that country’s very first animal protection regulation.
PETA pressure works, and—with your support—we will do whatever is needed to persuade the DoD to stop hurting animals.
PETA leads the fight to stop animal testing. Our goal is to expose the abuse wherever it occurs, call in our activist “troops” to shut it down, and push for more effective and cruelty-free alternatives. But we need your support to win this battle against the DoD and others like it.
Your special donation today will support this urgent campaign and help stop the suffering of animals in unnecessary experiments. We must stop this terrible abuse.
Adidas UAAP Shoot
Finally, I have some time to spare for blogging. Hehe… argh.. *migraine*
Aldz was invited by his friend who works for Adidas to model for DLSU’s UAAP Print Materials. Since I’ve been asking him to go into modeling everytime I hitch a ride, I’ve shared some of my modeling stories with him and a few insights and values about being a model. Hence, he asked me to join him in the shoot since I have some experiences and learnings already and it was his first modeling gig.
Unlike a lot of people who would’ve grabbed the opportunity to become a model when I offered it to them, Aldz was reluctant and always rejects my offers saying that he’s too shy and he can’t see himself being a model. But I seriously wouldn’t have invited him if I didn’t see any potential.
Having said so, this shoot really made him nervous. He almost didn’t want to go if I wasn’t going to join ’cause he says he won’t be comfortable. I understand him, of course — Adidas IS a big name for his first shoot and he doesn’t have any idea what goes on or how to conduct himself in a photoshoot.
He really prepared for the shoot, he even had me wake up at 5:00 AM to wake him up and prepare. Being an insomiac, I didn’t get any sleep (I also didn’t get to eat breakfast and dinner last night so I have no idea what I was running on) and we had to leave my house by 6:30 AM to go to his friend’s house in QC to fetch a cap (we almost got lost going there). I didn’t get to sleep during the car ride ’cause we were busy talking about family history, my boyfriend, modeling and the end of the world (seriously). The scheduled call time was 8:00 AM at Blow Up Babies in Serendra and we arrived a few minutes before the required time (which is a good thing naman).
I was the first to leap into make up since I was the only girl that time, the make up artist and hairstylist are really nice (and I’ve really encountered some who aren’t >_>). Again, Aldz was reluctant to get some make up on his face but it was needed so when he got out fresh from make up he was complaining about it being uncomfortable, new and itchy.
So there, shoot na… we were waiting for our turn and we were hearing screams from the other side. All of us just looked at each other in astonishment. o.O
So then it was my turn, I had to pretend I was a cheerleader and be all peppy.
I don’t really know what Aldz did ’cause I exited the room when it was his turn so he won’t be uncomfortable but from the shots I saw in the computer, it looked like he was breakdancing.
One thing I love about shoots is that the clients fatten up their models (usually, there are breakfasts, lunches and/or dinners in shoots so I was ok that I didn’t eat before going there). The clients really invest in the food; sometimes they call a caterer and most of the time they have food delivered (a lot of times it’s Jollibee or McDonald’s) but a while ago it was McDo for breakfast, four huge Yellow Cab pizzas for lunch and Starbucks coffee when we were leaving. Haha…
After lunch we were up for another set/layout and that one is supposed to come out reallly big as far as I know (and I can’t disclose any details yet) but I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed if they really carry out what they told us. x_x…
So what do we get from this? We were given gift certificates and Adidas jackets XD hahaha… and great food.
The materials are supposed to come out in June… heck I’m never hanging out near LS… I’ll just stay up in the TLS office where no one can see me haha.
Thanks for the great opportunity, Aldz ^_^
